It was a dream come true to have a wedding at Balyna House which is in Moyvalley, County Kildare. Balyna House is a palatial 19th Century Italian Mansion which can cater for up to 100 guests. Suitable for civil ceremonies for up to 150 guests.
This luxury hotel and resort is the perfect wedding venue for those couples who are looking to enjoy the total privacy of this unique location. I love working with an extraordinary couples in an extraordinary locations like this.
It was truly a beautiful summers day. I enjoyed documenting the story as preparation begun in the morning at Balyna house. The groom was getting ready in the house also. So, I was running between two rooms to make sure I do not miss anything. It’s always interesting to see the difference between boys and girls preparation, usually the time is taken.
The couple exchanged their vows in the stunning, unique Stone House and the love was floating around the room. The confetti on the exit gave an amazing feeling to all the guests, the couple and me. While everyone had a great time at the reception, myself and a couple sneaked out for half an hour for some amazing pictures.
Their wedding was one of the loveliest weddings I had documented recently and I was glad they invited me along.
